A 22-year-old mentally paralyzed man in Daska has appealed to the government and NGOs for help, Dunya News reported on Monday. A resident of Muhammad Pura, Daska, 22-year-old Muhammad Sultan fell ill some six months ago. At first he got treated from the local doctors but later he was refereed to the Lahore General Hospital by a neuro-surgeon after examining his test report. At Lahore General Hospital he was told that one of his veins inside the brain is ruptured and that his treatment is only possible in Karachi where the estimated cost of his traetment is 0.5 million rupees. Sultan said that he cannot afford such a big amount. He appealed to the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Punjab and Maulana Edhi for help.
