Land-lords tortured two laborers allegedly upon their demand of wages for the work. The land-lords shaved their moustaches, eye-brows and hair. They also blackened their faces and forced them to encircle the village many times, Dunya News reported on Wednesday. Yousaf, Lal Haq Nawaz, Lal Khuda Bakhsh and their nine accomplices shaved the moustaches, eye-brows and hair of Qasoor and Altaf Hussain in Bhawan Shah, a suburban area of Khanewal. The local residents intervened and freed the laborers from the clutches of the land-lords. Nawan City police station has starting investigating the matter on receiving request from the laborers. On the other hand an accused Lal has said that Qasoor and Altaf Hussain were his employees and were involved in theft incidents. They were punished just to make them feel guilty. However Qasoor and Altaf Hussain denied the charges levied upon them.
