Karachi: Lift collapses in private hospital, injures six

A lift collapsed in a private hospital in the area of North Karachi, injuring at least six people, Dunya news reported on Saturday. A lift in Remedial Hospital situated in North Karachi, owing to its outdated condition as well as being overloaded, fell from the second floor. The collapse injured four women and two men who were immediately given medical treatment in the same hospital. The lift-collapse caused broken legs of two of the four women inside it. People were of the view that the incident happened due to hospital administrations negligence.
