35 injured as roof fell due to heavy rain

At least 35 people were injured when roof of their house fell and they trapped under the debris in Badshah Pur village of Mandi Bahauddin on Wednesday. The incident occurred at the time when Rasm-e-Qul of Nazir Ahmed's wife was being offered. Due to intermittent rain, roof of the house caved in and people sitting in the room trapped under the debris. Rescue 1122 team reached the sport and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. All the injured were discharged after the treatment while one injured Mazhar Hayat was shifted to Sargodha in critical situation.
