Daska: Serial rapist killed in police encounter

The serial rapist and molester of children has been killed in police encounter in Daska on Monday. Sources said that police was taking accused Aftab alias Tabi to Sialkot jail on judicial remand when four of his accomplices attacked and got him freed under the cover of gunfire and escaped on a motorcycle. Police chased the culprits and besieged them on Pasrur Road near Bhatti Colony and engaged them in a crossfire. Resultantly, Aftab died on the spot, while his accomplices managed to flee the scene. Some four days back, police arrested Aftab on the charges of raping and molesting seven children. He abducted and raped two young students in April last.
