Poverty made the sons of a deranged man to keep their father in a hut after fettering him in Layyah. As per reports, Ghulam Qasim (60) of Basti Bhind Chah Machiwala developed some mental disease some two years back. The doctors told the sons the expenditures on the treatment would be high. The sons said that they could not get their father treated for having no resources and when their father got out of control, they shackled him so to avert any mishap. Qasims wife appealed of the government to provide her monetary enabling her to get him treated.
