Summary
At least five people were killed including and several others were wounded in recent wave of target killings in Karachi. Markets and shops were closed in various parts of the city over reports of target killings. An activist from an Islamic organization was gunned down North Karachi Sector 5A four. Awami National Partys worker was also gunned down in Chakvara Bahar colony. A trader identified as Ramesh Kumar was also killed in his car when unidentified attackers sprayed bullets on him and his driver, Ramesh died on spot while his driver succumbed to injuries at a local hospital. Police recovered a dead body from Saoud Abad. Police have lodged investigation into the killings.
