A man tried to kill himself, his wife and three infant daughters by mixing poison in water. The father and his two daughters died on spot in Shah Pur Kaanjran, area on the outskirts of Lahore while his wife and one daughter is lying in critical condition at hospital.Rikshaw driver Akbar tried to poison his family to commit suicide due to abject poverty. Akbar lived in a rented house on Multan road in Shah Pur Kaanjran with his wife, six children and parents. Very limited income forced Akbar to take such a drastic step while the situation of his house and domestic disputes had become a routine. One day, Akbar mixed poison in water and drank it along with three daughters and wife. Due to which, 8-year-old Nadia and 6-year-old Aeman along with their father were killed. Situation of his wife Muzammal and daughter Beenish is stated to be critical in Jinnah Hospital.
