At least eight people were killed and nine others wounded in a landside in Skardus district Kharmang.Kharmang is located 75 km from Skardu. The landslide took place due to heavy rains in the wee hours of Friday morning, according to sources. The natives shifted the injured to a local hospital. Authorities have beefed up relief activities in the area.
