Lahore High Court has ordered to immediately open emergency ward at Jinnah Hospital. Justice Chaudhry has directed to replace doctors who do not want to work. Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry remarked that the judges have been reinstated due to the positive role of the media.Hearing the petition to register case of torture on journalist under Anti-Terrorism Act, the court has asked the police to submit report on April 12 whereas, Justice Ijaz Chaudhry has issued notice for Dr Javed Akram for the same date. Justice Ijaz Chaudhry said that no one wants to restrict medias freedom and judges are sitting in the court due to this very freedom. However, balance is critical, he added. He said rights of any party should not be violated. He said that the closure of emergency wards in hospitals increase peoples problems that is why emergency cannot be closed for any reason.
