Relatives of a person, who was allegedly tortured to death by Mian Channu police, held a protest on Wednesday, Dunya News reported. Angry protesters threw stones on a train and demolished the walls of Sadar police station. Maqbool Ahmed was died after Mian Channu police allegedly tortured him. Relatives of Maqbool attacked police station and demolished its walls. And they also stopped a Khyber Mail and threw stones on it. The protesters chanted slogans against the police. Some of the passengers were injured by the stoning. However, police cleared the track. On the orders of DPO Khanewal Kamran Khan, a case was registered against the accused policemen.
