Summary
After prolong drought rainfall was seen in parts Balochistan, Punjab, NWFP and Azad Kashmir. Neelum Highway was closed for traffic due to land sliding.After the rain, fall in temperature was recorded in Lahore, Islamabad, Sheikhupura, Multan, Kasur, Pak Patan, Faisalabad and Wehari.Parts of Balochistan including Pasni, Mastawang, Mangchar, Hanna Orak, and Kachalak received rain while snow fall was experienced on the mountains of Quetta, Ziarat and Kalat. Swat is experiencing rains and snowfall for third day in a row. Eight to Ten feet of snowfall was recorded in Kalam while upto 24 inches of snow was also recorded in Kalat. Muzaffarabad and surrounding areas have received 62mm of rain fall. The mountains of Neelum have received 10 to 12 feet of snow fall. According to the MET office the rain would continue in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
