Curfew imposed in Dera Ismail Khan for Muharram

A curfew has been imposed for an indefinite period in Dera Ismail Khan and all the entry and exit points to the city have been sealed on Saturday night.Of 28, six Imambarghas have been declared ultra sensitive and 11 as sensitive. Police authorities have asked the people to stay inside their homes; the whole city has been sealed and cameras have been installed at all the sensitive places. Police has erected barricades on the way to the Imambarghas and strictly frisking all the Azadars.Police have arrested around 110 people during a search operation in Muharram, while the already held persons under MPO would be kept for another month. Meanwhile, 16 people have been nabbed for breaching the curfew.
