KANDHKOT: The phase of casualties due to chickenpox continued till Friday as death toll of innocent children has risen to 27 within 13 days.
The Health Department has not taken any proper action in this regard.
According to sources, four-year-old Hasina and three-year-old Fahmida from village Karampur, four-year-old Kashif from Garhi Tegho, three-year-old Sa’adia and two-year-old Allah Bux from Jagin Teghani died of chickenpox.
According to local people, with short period of 13 day, at least 27 children have fallen victims to this disease while hundreds of children are being treated in different hospitals.
Terror and horror have gripped the entire area where people are scared of their future.
