KARACHI:-A wave of scarcity of necessity goods has taken place across the country due to suspension of supply of the necessary commodities from the ports of the costal city Karachi for the last three days.


The Goods Transports Associations continued their strike for the seven day, against the increasing incidents of robbery and annoying by the motorways police. The transporters staged a protest demonstration at the Hawks Bay blocked the road for hours on Saturday.

 

The supply of commodities from the ports has been suspended for the last three days from the ports of Karachi.

 

The shortage of necessary commodities including medicines and eatables has been witnessed in markets in Sindh and across the country.

 

The suspension of goods has badly affected the trade cycle and the industrial production process in the country’s economic hub Karachi and other parts of the country.
