QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) conducted a sting operation in Balochistan’s district Pishin and recovered explosives and other equipments used in bomb-making.
The Frontier Corps (FC) Saturday foiled a terrorism bid and recovered 210 kg explosive material, 76 detonators and a huge cache of weapons while three personals of Levies forces were also missing.
According to FC spokesperson, they got secret information and lunched operation against miscreants. The action was carried out in Pishin where 210 kilograms of explosives, 76 detonators, five time-devices, 20-yard wires and five fuses have been seized from a house.
The miscreants holed up there fled the scene as soon as they caught sight of the troops.
The FC spokesperson said the miscreants are involved in the terrorist activities and the efforts are being made for their arrest.
Meanwhile, three levies personals went missing in the district of Pishin at Daadha. Levies and police have started search for three personals and cordoned off the area. However, they could not be recovered yet.
