Former federal minister for water and power Liaquat Jatoi said on Wednesday that the country was not suffering electricity shortage, adding that rental power plants project was designed for commission only.Talking to media in Dadu, Jatoi claimed that the 12 projects, which Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf talk about, were launched in his tenure. He accused that the IPPs were generating lesser amount of electricity as the government was not making payments to them.
