Intelligence agencies arrested 6 terrorists from Faisalabad while 3 from Karachi and recovered suicide jacket and large stock of arms. A terrorist arrested from Karachi confessed an attack on ANPs senator Afzal Lalas residence by rocket launcher, Dunya News reported Tuesday. Terrorists arrested from Dhobi Ghat area of Faisalabad include, Rana Mustansar Ahmad, Rana Arshad, Tariq Javed Muawiya, Maulvi Muhammad Din Sabir, Maulvi Muhammad Rafiq Sabir and Qari Abdul Sattar. Around 300 hand grenades, a large pile of weapons, pictures of important buildings and maps have also been recovered from them. According to sources, Rana Muhammad Arshad and Rana Mustansar Ahmad got training from Afghanistan.On the other hand, CID Police Karachi arrested three terrorists Muhammad Sahib alias Qasai, Rojhan Khan and Muhammad Ali who belong to Taliban Commander Farooq Group and recovered suicide jacket and weapons. According to police, the accused were involved in terrorism, murder, kidnapping, destroying girls schools and damaging government buildings. Chichawatni Police seized 8000 foreign made shotgun shells from a bus traveling from Lahore to Hasilpur and arrested conductor of the bus. However, sending and receiving persons could not be arrested.
