Pakistan Kidney Institute is going to establish a 400 bedded hospital (Urology, Nephrology and Kidney Transplant) on 20 acres of land donated by Comsats Institute of Information Technology in Chak Shahzad Islamabad.Chief Executive Officer PKI Dr. Saeed Akhtar that the Institute was established in 2004 and have so far provided services to 47261 patients.Now, they have planned to build a center of excellence where underprivileged patients will get medical care. He said that they were continuously campaigning against illegal organ trade and this institute will continue its efforts to get rid of this menace.He urged Pakistani masses to come forward and donate for this state of the art hospital that will emerge as a ray of hope for people from deprived segment of society.
