Summary A residential locality near Thokar Niaz Beg was inundates due to breach in canal in Lahore.
According to rescue teams sources, many people were trapped when water surrounded their homes at midnight.The rescue teams recued 19 people trapped in the water and shifted them to safer places. The water damaged several houses and goods worth millions of of rupees destroyed. The DCO Lahor’ Noor-ul-Ameen Mengal, inspected the affected area and constituted an inquriry committee to report the incident.
