Summary Punjab IGP Habib-ur-Rehman said Police were fighting against terrorism despite limited resources.
Talking to media in Lahore, Inspector General Punjab Police Haji Habib-ur-Rehman said that the decision of crackdown against illegal weapons has been taken to maintain law and order in the province.He said appointments on the political basis have been stopped to end political influence in the department.The IGP claimed that crime rate had decreased due to organized and well-planned policy of the police department.
