Summary The Punjab government has released funds for the construction of an underpass in Rawalpindi.
The Punjab government has released a fund worth Rs 30 million to the RDA for construction of an underpass in Shah Khalid Colony.According to the RDA officials, basic design of the underpass has been prepared while its detailed design is in the final stages of completion.The project bears a total cost of Rs 90 million. Out of this amount, Rs 38 million have to be paid to Pakistan Railway, Rs 1.7 million will be given to the consultant of the project, and the remaining will be spent on the construction-work.
