Summary Three-day anti polio campaign has been launched in tribal and semi- tribal areas.
At least 900,000 children would get benefit from polio administration drops in tribal areas.Deputy Director of (EPI) Fata Doctor Sahibzada Khalid told the private TV that three days polio campaign was in progress in tribal and semi -tribal areas and 3500 teams have been constituted for this campaign respectively.One hundred teams would perform their duties and administered polio vaccine to children under 5 years of age.Doctor Khalid further said that no polio campaign would be launched for North Waziristan areas owing to the uncertain law and order situation.
