Summary KPK senior minister said the holding of local government election has been delayed owing to EC.
While talking to private TV channel, Bashir Ahmed Bilour said that Local Government elections cannot be held with electoral lists and Election Commission had issued the lists just this month due to which the elections were delayed.He said that the EC is responsible for the delay; if the EC announces the date for local bodies election, the provincial government is prepared to hold the elections within three months.Bilour said that a three-member committee has been formed for new constituencies
