Summary A 9th Class student died of alleged police torture in Mardan, heirs block Mardan-Nowshera Road.
According to details, police have arrested Akhtar Ali, son of Sabaz Ali on charges of theft at the residence of Syed Abdullah Shah of Sher Garh area of Mardan.The relative of Akhtar went to police station to meet him where they found Akhtar hanging on a window in the police lockup.Akhtar was rushed to Mardan Medical Complex in critical condition where he died after two hours. The heirs of the deceased staged a protest against the incident and blocked Mardan-Nowshera Road.
