Summary 21 more new dengue fever cases in a week were reported in the City on Monday.
Provincial Dengue Surveillance Cell of Sindh Health Department has confirmed that as many as 13 new cases of dengue fever have been reported in the City in the last five days while 21 in a week.As per details, the dengue affected patients are under treatment in Civil, Jinnah and other local hospitals.According to the Dengue Surveillance Cell, the growth of dengue mosquitoes would increase after rain which would may cause its spread.Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne infection; it can be asymptomatic, but commonly causes a severe flu-like illness.
