Summary Police in an operation Sunday arrested nine miscreants from Sohrab Goth area.
Police have carried out an operation against miscreants at Sohrab Goth area in Karachi and arrested nine persons. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the miscreants.Gadap Town SP, Jan Mohammad said two groups quarreling over some cash transaction on Saturday traded gunshots at Jannat Gul Town behind Al-Asif Square, killing 4 persons and injuring 5.When police started raids to arrest the miscreants, they targeted the police and fired the vehicle of Gadap SP. Two policemen including SHO Sultan Mehsud were injured, who were shifted to a private hospital for medical aid.SP Gadap further said that on Saturday seven persons were arrested during the raids, while two key culprits including Abdul Qadir were rounded up Sunday morning and weapons were also recovered from their possession.It is pertinent to mention here that about 300 police personnel including police commandos participated in the operation.
