The accused was desirous of becoming rich within no time; that is why he adopted a shortcut in order to hit his plan.According to sources, the accused Hamid Ali enticed more than 25 people, with the assurance that their money would be multiplied within 15 days. He succeeded in befooling them, collected Rs 4.5 million out of them and ultimately managed to escape from his dwelling.While having an investigation, the NAB sent a reference against Hamid Ali to the court which awarded him 10 years imprisonment with fine worth Rs 4.5 million.Now Hamid Ali is behind bars in Kot Lakhpat Jail.
