According to details, police entered the house of Sharif Khan, a murder accused, and shot him dead in Tofkian village, four kilometers in the north-east of Taxila city.The police officials entered the house after breaking the door with an ax and allegedly gunned down 35-year-old Sharif Khan in the presence of his mother and his 13-year-old daughter.The policemen dragged the dead body with a rope to pose it as an encounter.The heirs and residents of the area protested against the brutal incident of police torture and blocked traffic by placing dead body on GT Road.
