Summary An alleged terror attempt was foiled by the FC officials in Quetta on Tuesday.

The Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, foiling a massive terror plot, arrested two saboteurs and seized from their custody huge cache of firearms,.The terrorists claimed to have snagged Rs.2.5 million from Brahamdagh Bugti for the sabotage activities to hit the security men in the city.According to reports, the car, when intercepted at a FC picket for checking on Zarghun Road, tried to break free. The FC troops held it back and put to rigorous checking, and recovered two remote-controlled 20-kilogram bombs from the car.A man, Danish riding the car, has been arrested. On identification by the miscreant, the security men, in a sting operation, captured 200-kilogram explosives, two rockets, several hand grenades, chemicals and walkie-talkie sets. Also, a man, Khalid Bugti was arrested from the terror den.The miscreants revealed that Almu Chowk blast on May 14 was their sabotage activity, for which Brahamdagh Bugti made available at least Rs.1.5 million to them, adding he provided further a million rupee for today’s terrorist activity.It should be mentioned here that the miscreants wanted to plant the explosives on Jinnah Road in Cantt area, meant to target the FC motorcade.
