Summary A police official was suspended in Peshawar for allegedly passing unfit candidates.
DPO Danishwar Khan has suspended a police officer, and several other police officials for allegedly declaring unfit candidates, fit in the recruitment process of police constables.Source said that taking strict action against the staff of OSI branch of DPO office, performing duty in recruitment progress and suspending a police official Qamar Zaman who happens to be close relative of an office bearer of ruling ANP, has ordered him to report to police lines, while issuing show cause notices to other staff of the OSI branch who were performing duty in the process.Sources said that recruitment process has been started to appoint more than 280 constables, while later on, the district police officer ordered to conduct inquiry in this matter.It is pertinent to note that last year when Dr. Zeeshan Raza was district police officer (DPO) Mardan, he also suspended a police official Mohammad Fazil Khan over corruption charges in charge of the mentioned branch.It has also been further disclosed that few months ago a police officer from the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) office Mardan was promoted to Inspector General Police (IGP) office Peshawar.An immediate inquiry has been initiated in this respect, regarding the official who happens to be a muharar at Swabi police station.
