Summary Former DSP Mian Channu Attique Butt was killed by his servants who later burnt his dead body.
According to details, former DSP Mian Channu Attique Butt was scheduled to meet DPO Khanewal to thank him for reinstating him on his post but when he failed to reach their upon which one of his friends tried to contact him on phone. But when he failed to contact him on mobile he reached his house in Chak No 133-16-L and inquired about Attique Butt from his servant Bahawal.Not getting a satisfactory reply from the servant he then contacted Police Station Sadar upon which police arrested Attique Butt’s servant and his brother Chamma. During police interrogation the servant informed police that some people came to Attique Butt’s house and killed him and dug a hole and buried his body in it.It is pertinent to mention here that Attique Butt was suspended for allegedly killing two real brothers in a police encounter in Pakpattan nearly three years ago.
