Summary GM Human Resource TEVTA Javed Iqbal was killed while resisting robbery attempt in Garden Town area.
Javed Iqbal was on his way back to home in Thokar Niaz Beg after receiving his wife from Lahore airport on Tuesday when two motorcyclists tried clued him to stop near Gulzar Underpass of Garden Town area.Javed did not stop after which the motorcyclists opened fire and injured him. Javed Iqbal was shifted to Doctors Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.Dead body of Javed Iqbal was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for autopsy.Fifty-year-old officer of Grade 19, Javed Iqbal belonged to Chiniot. After passing civil service examination, Javed Iqbal joined as magistrate. He joined Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) on deputation in November 2011.Javed left behind two sons who are studying in London. His wife had returned after visiting their sons in London.
