Summary Several areas faced darkness due to breakdown after fault in extra high tension line.
The electric supply suspended due to breakdown after tripping of high tension line in several areas of Karachi including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Nazimabad, Safoora Goth, Pehlwan Goth, Gulzar Bijri, Hassan Square and Gulistan-e-Johar.According to KESC spokesman, 14 grid stations were affected due to tripping while the KESC staff removed the fault within two hours and restored power supply to the affected areas.
