Summary Police have arrested father and stepmother of Sobia.
Earlier, eleven-year-old Sobia ran away from home after her parents subjected her to severe torture.It has been learnt that Sobia’s real mother died 8 years ago after which her father married another woman Nasira Perveen. The couple often subjected Sobia to torture. Police have booked both husband and wife in torture case. Meanwhile, after a report aired by the Dunya TV, DCO Gujranwala and MS of the hospital took notice and the girl was shifted to ICU for better healthcare.
