Summary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has barred renewal of arms licences for one year from 31st Dec 2012.
Directives have been issued to DCOs of 25 districts in this regards by department of interior.The restriction has been imposed owing to increase of renewal fee in the budget of next fiscal year.This step would ensure that any yearly increase in renewal fee is paid by all licences holders as previously most did not pay as they have more than 1 year renewal period.
