Zaheer Ahmad, resident of Sanda, went to the Governor’s House along with his children and protested against his hardships, ultimately setting his motorcycle on fire.The protestor complained that the new trade union of Hafiz Centre had confiscated his luggage after dispossessing him of his canteen. He said that he had to pay the rent for two months due to which he has been deprived of his sole source of livelihood.He said that political parties use party workers as puppets but do not help them in the times of trial and trouble.Advisor to Governor Tanveer Butt reached the site of occurrence and assured the family of the worker that they would be provided justice.
