PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Unidentified armed assailants shot dead Fahad, a Deputy Assistant Director of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), in the Hayatabad area of Peshawar.
According to police, the incident took place in the parking area of a NADRA office, where unidentified attackers opened fire on Fahad, killing him on the spot.
Following the incident, police personnel rushed to the scene and collected evidence from the crime site.
Police said efforts were underway to identify the suspects with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the parking area.
The victim's body was shifted to a hospital for the completion of legal formalities and a postmortem examination.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are examining different aspects of the case to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.
