ANP activists put up aerial firing show in anticipation of their candidate's win in NA 9 Mardan.

ANP’s Hamayatullah Mayar is tipped to be leading in the polls while the counting of votes is continuing. However, in anticipation of his win, ANP workers aired automatic and semi-automatic weapons in a brazen disregard for rule of law.Furthermore, the NA 9 is the area of chief minister of the province and the aerial firing reportedly took place at the ANP central office.According to unofficial results received from 25 polling stations of NA-9 Mardan-I, Himayatullah Mayar (ANP) leads with 3195 votes while Shujaul Mulk (JUI-F) is second 2076 votes.
