LAHORE (Dunya News) - An 8-year-old boy died after falling into an open manhole in Lahore’s Hanjarwal area.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when the child, identified as Hakeemullah, fell into the open manhole while playing in the area.
Rescue personnel reached the site and shifted the child to a hospital for medical treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
Police reached the scene after being informed of the incident and took the child’s body into custody.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and initiated legal proceedings.
