KARACHI (Dunya News) - An online taxi driver who dropped off Mir Raza Ali has shared details of the ride, saying he has records of the journey and the passenger’s movements during the trip.
In a statement, taxi driver Ehsanullah said Mir Raza booked the ride at 3:57pm. He said he called the passenger at 4:07pm to inform him that he had reached the pickup location, while the ride officially began at 4:09pm.
According to the driver, they travelled from Khalid Bin Waleed Road towards Tariq Road and then went to Bahadurabad.
He said they later travelled from Bahadurabad to the Stadium area, Millennium Mall, Perfume Chowk, Johar Mor and then towards Mausamiyat.
The driver said Mir Raza asked him to drop him at a location and told him that he would guide him along the route. The driver said he followed the directions given by the passenger.
Ehsanullah said Mir Raza played songs during the journey and asked him to drive faster. He added that the young man did not make any phone calls during the ride but continued using his mobile phone.
“I have the complete record of the journey with Mir Raza,” the driver said, adding that no one was present at the location where he dropped him off.
