LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) has announced the results of its first annual examinations for 2026, with students recording varying pass percentages across different programmes.
According to the results, the pass percentage for Matric Tech stood at 73.73 per cent, while Matric Vocational recorded 73.93pc. The pass rate for Matric Vocational (Hearing Impaired) was 87.13pc.
In the DAE Sino-Pak Dual Degree Programme, the pass percentage was 84.17pc for first year and 65pc for second year.
In Matric Tech, Muzammil Bashir secured first position, followed by Ayesha Zafar in second and Hasan Kamal in third.
For Matric Vocational, Shazia Ahmed stood first, Humaira Batool second and Sahreen Fatima third.
In the Matric Vocational (Hearing Impaired) category, Abiha secured first position, Khadija Dawood Gul second and Saniha Zafar third.
PBTE Chairman Dr Faisal Mahmood congratulated the successful candidates and said a medal-awarding ceremony would be organised soon to honour high-achieving students.
He said position holders and other outstanding students would receive medals, certificates and prizes at the ceremony.
