ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has once again alleged that AJK elections were rigged, vowing that they would keep raising their voice against the alleged unfair elections in the region.
Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, the party leaders said that the worst rigged election was held in Azad Kashmir.
PPP Nayyar Bukhari alleged that the foundation for rigging was laid by allowing elections in three phases. The turnout in some polling stations was more than 90 percent, which he said was impossible.
He said Election Commission was informed about the rigging, but no action was taken. We will not leave the country, we will fight the PML-N, he said.
Chaudhry Latif Akbar on the occasion said he was attacked and his voters were not allowed to go to the polling stations.
Chaudhry Yasin of PPP said Rana Sanaullah had said a year ago that he would form a government in Azad Kashmir.
