KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab once again lashed out at his critics saying that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is executing various development projects and public services in the city, including transport networks, road rehabilitation, and expressway infrastructure.
Addressing a ceremony in Karachi on Sunday, Murtaza Wahab said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) politics starts and ends with self-interest. He said that those who have no unity among themselves cannot bring the city together.
He said that the public can see who is staging protests and who is actually working. He said that MQM-P and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) should tell the people what work they have done in Karachi.
Murtaza Wahab further said that work to clean the city's stormwater drains has begun. He said that it will be easier for the next mayor to work if there are fewer problems.
