MOSCOW (Dunya News) — Chief Justice of Pakistan’s Federal Constitutional Court Aminuddin Khan participated in the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum in Russia, representing Pakistan on global judicial cooperation and constitutional matters.
During the forum, Justice Aminuddin Khan held a meeting with Türkiye’s Justice Minister Akın Gürlek, where both sides discussed ways to enhance judicial cooperation between the two countries.
The chief justice also met Tajikistan’s Chief Justice Rustam Pirakhmadovich Mirzozoda, with discussions focusing on strengthening judicial relations and institutional links.
Justice Aminuddin Khan further met Senator Vladimir Chizhov, head of the Russia-Pakistan Friendship Group in the Russian Federation Council. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia Faisal Niaz Tirmizi was also present during the meetings.
The discussions covered constitutional law, judicial reforms, exchange of legal expertise and opportunities for expanding mutual cooperation.
Justice Aminuddin Khan said the Federal Constitutional Court remains committed to promoting international judicial cooperation and upholding constitutional supremacy.
His participation in the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum reflects Pakistan’s engagement in global legal and judicial affairs, with discussions held on new avenues for international judicial collaboration.
