MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) – Azad Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday placed at least 150 members of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) on the Fourth Schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

According to sources, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Home Department has issued a notification after adding hundreds of members of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee to the Fourth Schedule.

The action was taken under Section 16(1) of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Terrorism Act.

The listed individuals include four senior leaders of the banned committee, as well as other members against whom authorities say there is substantial evidence of involvement in violent activities.
