Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed on continuing dialogues to enhance cooperation in trade and transport sector. Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Tajikistan Minister for Energy signed a memorandum to cooperate in trade, economic, science and technology sectors at the end of two-day joint Economic Commissions session. According to the sources President Asif Ali Zardari is likely to sign four agreements including trade, transport, health and sports during his Tajikistan visit. Two countries have also agreed to form a joint business forum. A project to import 1000 mega watt electricity from Tajikistan was also discussed.
