KARACHI (Web Desk) – Anmol alias “Pinky”, who is facing charges of peddling drugs, has been shifted to hospital after reportedly falling ill, officials said on Tuesday.

According to reports, the suspect underwent a medical examination at the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) following her deteriorating health condition.

DIG Prisons Fida Hussain Mastoi has written a letter requesting security arrangements for her hospital transfer, citing serious security concerns.

The letter stated that 23 criminal cases have been registered against the accused and that strict security measures are required for her movement from Central Jail to SIUT.

Prison authorities have also formally requested security support from the Additional Inspector General of Karachi Police, while a separate request was earlier sent to the city police chief for enhanced protection during her treatment.

Officials said the arrangements are being made to ensure secure transfer and monitoring of the suspect during her hospital stay.
