SUKKUR (Dunya News) – An 11-year-old boy was drowned while bathing in Indus River in Thermal area near Sukkur on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the young boy, whose mother reportedly suffered from mental health issues, was bathing along the banks of the Indus River when he accidently slipped into deep water and drowned.
Police personnel present near the site jumped into the river and retrieving the child from the water. Despite police officers administering CPR at the scene, the child could not be revived.
He was shifted to Civil Hospital where doctors confirmed his death.
