FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Sunday said that there is no amendment under consideration regarding depriving young people of their voting right.

Speaking to the media during a kabaddi tournament ceremony in Faisalabad, Rana Sanaullah said that kabaddi is a popular sport in Punjab. He said that the majority of players in the national kabaddi team belong to this constituency.

He said that the establishment of a kabaddi stadium in the area by the Punjab government is a gift for the local people. He further said that that sports grounds will be built in every village of the constituency to encourage youth participation in sports.

He added that Pakistan is a nuclear power and has the capability to teach a lesson to an enemy ten times larger. He expressed hope that poverty and inflation in the country would be eliminated and that better healthcare and employment opportunities would become available.

Rana Sanaullah emphasized that no amendment is being considered that would deprive the younger generation of their voting rights. He said debate and discussion on various issues should continue. He also remarked that after Iran-US peace deal, the petrol and gas prices will come down.
